Elatec TCP3 Kit Standard POE

The TCP converters are mainly used for RFID authentication and access control for devices that do not have a USB interface - from older single-function printers to industrial robots. They can be connected via a USB cable to a Local Area Network (LAN) at one end and to an RFID reader at the other. When the user holds their card up to the reader, the information is sent to a local server via the network. Depending on the response, a print job can be released or - in the case of the industrial robot - authorization can be granted.
