SAVEtheOCEAN-Card - plastic cards from the seaAccording to current estimates, one truckload of plastic waste ends up in the world's oceans every minute. That's more than 10 million tons a year! With the SAVEtheOCEAN-Card, together with you, we are making a contribution against marine pollution and for environmental protection.99% of every single card is made of PVC recovered from the sea. An extensive recycling process produces new cards from the recovered material, which can now be used with a clear conscience. The quality of the SAVEtheOCEAN card is equivalent to that of a conventional plastic card. It can be printed individually.Every kilo of PVC extracted from the sea not only counteracts environmental pollution, but also saves 2 kg of CO2 as no new PVC has to be produced. The material, our "green plastic", is also climate-neutral through offsetting certified and authenticated by the Bundesverband Druck und Medien e.V. (bvdm).
