An intuitive touch screen with print preview and display elements provides a user-friendly interface to Authentys' most advanced and durable printing engine. The Retrax allows you to print up to 100 high-resolution full-color cards per hour. The high print quality means better matching of facial features between the ID card and the holder for your staff. This makes it the ideal solution for driving licenses, national ID cards and other cards where security is paramount.

The Retrax retransfer printer has built-in visual security through the use of up to 10 secure HoloKote watermarks. This means that if you choose to do so, you can, for example, distinguish different departments with a separate holographic design. For added security, the Retrax uses the wavelengths of the color film to make it fluoresce under UV lighting.

High capacity consumables (1000 prints) and reservoirs (200/200), combined with a range of encoding options to write secure electronic data onto the card, make the Retrax ideal for the production of secure corporate and government ID cards.

The basis for the Authentys Retrax is so-called retransfer printing. In contrast to the standard thermal sublimation process, your card design is first printed on a transparent film and this film is then applied to the card surface.

This process gives you higher resolution print quality and allows you to successfully print on smart/RFID cards with uneven surfaces. It also gives you added card durability and tamper resistance to ensure the cards last a long time.

Like all Authentys card printers, the Retrax comes with the HoloKote system built in and prints a secure watermark on the card at no extra cost - the first retransfer printer to ever offer this.

With the Retrax, you can now print a Secure HoloKote - a fluorescent version of the HoloKote watermark that appears in black light, adding another layer of security to your cards. Choose from 10 standard Secure HoloKote patterns that can be printed with the special YMCKS secure ribbon. Here, the wavelengths of the foil are used to fluoresce under UV conditions. Through secure, encrypted and intuitive online transmission, any of the 10 standard watermarks can be replaced with your own customized design or company logo. HoloKote printing requires the use of a secure color film (YMCKS).

The Retrax also supports Custom HoloKote, which allows users to use their own custom image or text as a watermark - with options for UV printing.
