High-definition print quality

HID Global is a pioneer of high-definition printing - also known as retransfer printing technology - for ID card printers. HDP printing technology was introduced by Fargo in 1999 and has been continuously developed ever since. HID is now using the technology in the fifth generation of HDP printers, the FARGO HDP8500.

Cards produced using the high-definition printing process are more durable and secure than other cards. The resistant HDP film protects the print from external influences and prevents the card from wearing out. At the same time, it ensures that the card is tamper-proof.
