PSDCard software for professional card applications

The PSDCard software is a card management system for professional use that is extremely user-friendly despite its enormous range of functions. Even demanding processes such as the encoding of RFID cards can be implemented with this program without extensive programming knowledge. Standard functions (personalization, layout creation, etc.) are also characterized by uncomplicated and user-friendly functionality. PSDCard is therefore perfectly suited for both professional and entry-level use. The software is divided into different versions, each of which has an increasing range of functions.

Functions:

• Schema Creator

With the PSDCard™ Schema Creator tool, you can create coding schemes for your contactless chip cards quickly and easily. No programming knowledge is required for this. The user is provided with an intuitive tool via input and selection fields, drag & drop function and a graphical user interface. The common RFID technologies Mifare, Desfire, Hitag and Legic are supported.

• CommandProcessor Plugin

The PSDCard CommandProcessor plugin is intended for importing and exporting data or creating ID cards during operation. Roughly speaking, this works as follows: An appropriately configured XML file with the personnel data is transferred from the external system to the "hot folder". PSDCard™ automatically checks at regular intervals whether a new file has been placed in the hot folder. If so, it is imported and can be used to print the new ID cards.

• Face recognition

PSDCard™ has a face recognition module that allows the software to automatically crop faces and remove "red eyes". In addition, you can also use a live image from various Canon digital cameras directly via PSDCard™. This gives you the advantage of not having to laboriously cut out the images to be printed with an image editing program, but instead having them delivered directly within the software, saving you time.

• Customizable interfaces

The entire user interface, i.e. all tables, masks, buttons and other features of PSDCard™ can be individually adapted to your needs. And the best thing about it is that PSDCard™ can still be fully expanded and, above all, updated even after customization. Perfect if you want to work with PSDCard™ in the long term.

• Visitor management

The PSDCard™ "Visitor management" module provides an independent client within the PSDCard™ installation that can be used to manage visitors with their own information. A history of visitor bookings (arrivals / departures) is managed for each visitor data record. PSDCard™ visitor management also offers the option of recording these visitor bookings electronically in order to reduce the administrative workload for the user's staff. All types of encoding (barcode, magnetic strip, SmartCard, RFID, ...) are possible for the electronic recording of bookings. The required reader can be easily connected to the PSDSCard™ visitor management system.

• SAP connection

With its supplied interfaces, PSDCard™ offers the possibility of a quick to set up and easy to use connection to all third-party systems such as SAP. Data is made available by SAP once a night, several times a day on a time-controlled basis or immediately at any time in a variety of ways (e.g. CSV file, database view, web service, etc.) and is immediately ready for further use by all PSDCard™ users after automatic import. The PSD-Databridge (as a background utility program) automatically processes data from various data sources and makes it available to the PSDCard™ system and any number of third-party systems (e.g. access control, time recording, etc.). Times and formats for data transfer can be freely configured or redefined from the scope of delivery.

• Canon® live image

PSDCard™ supports various digital cameras for displaying a live image on the connected PC. Many suppliers of digital cameras offer an SDK (software development kit) for live image support. In principle, PSDCard™ can be used with all digital cameras for which the respective manufacturer provides an SDK for live image display on the PC. According to the manufacturer, EOS Canon® cameras are already supported by the integrated SDK within PSDCard™ with a live image display. Comparison of different PSDCard versions

PSDCard software has been developed for many different areas of application. For example, clubs may have lower demands on the software than a university or a large company. The card management system is available in four different versions to ensure that all our customers receive the functions that are right for them.
