U&Z RFID locking cylinder Clex Prime CX6182

The CX6182 is used as a profile cylinder with an electronic freely rotating knob on both sides. It is released on both sides by electronic authorization. The evaluation electronics and the mechatronics are located together with the batteries in the electronic knob on the protected inside. The small outer knob only contains reading electronics including an antenna with visual and acoustic signaling, but no power supply or coupling mechanism.

The CX6182 security version is also equipped with special anti-drilling mechanisms. This makes the CX6182 particularly suitable for use in building entrance doors or other doors that require a higher level of mechanical burglary protection.

As the CX6182 is fitted using a Euro profile cylinder, conventional locks for DIN Euro profile can be used and no complex installation is required. This means that the double knob cylinder can be used cost-effectively for both new buildings and existing properties.

A wide variety of transponder carriers can be used as keys on the CX6182. These include ISO card, key fob, Clex locking cylinder key.

The CX6182 double knob cylinder has the following extended system features:

• Timers/day release possible


• Electronic authorization on both sides


• Permanent engagement (toggle function) possible


• Connection to the CX6934 EMA module possible


• Batteries can only be changed/removed with the appropriate authorization to open the battery compartment


• Simple installation and removal of the knob. This is only possible with the appropriate authorization.


• Sealed, water-protected knob in housing up to protection class IP66 (in planning)
